I was watching the Lobbying Rule Changes on C-SPAN on 3/9/06. Some of the lobbyists featured were religious leaders, cultural leaders, and Aspen Institutes Public Leaders. It doesnt matter who the lobbyists are as long as our representatives remember to represent the citizens when drawing up legislation and statues. One representative said they needed to prove to the American citizens that they were not corrupt. I say the way our representatives prove to us the American Citizens that they are not corrupt is by deleting all the laws that makes it legal for businesses to extort service fees and service charges from the American citizens. The bottom line, we the citizens only wish to pay only for the service we receive. If businesses, banks, courts schools and ect. need more money to honor the contract we as citizens have with them then they should put that amount on the total cost of the service package. I for one am tired of paying fees and service charges for on time payments. If I have 30 days to pay a bill then I should not have to pay service fees for paying two payments within 30 days. Look at your phone bill readers. I looked at mine and I saw I was being charged a fee to support conservation, the hard of hearing, the blind; you name it I was paying a fee for it. This is not right America.

I have looked at all my personal bills; will my readers please look at all your personal bills too? I have now realized that we, the American citizens, economic problems are coming from our legislators. According to 1 Kings Chapter 12, there was a King who over whelmed the citizens of Israel with taxes and fees to the point that they rejected him and went into rebellion against him. The Lord Jesus Christ stated in the Bible that the poor you will have with you always. (Matthew 26v11) I do not claim to be poor at this point. However, I understand that because of too much legislation from our representatives authorizing businesses in America to charge extra fees and service charges on to the service Americans already pay for; will one day cause me along with other working people on a fixed income to become poor. (Proverbs 19 v 22)

Now with that being said what should we all do? I suggest we all write our legislators at the county, city, state, and federal level requesting that they delete all the long-sharking and pimping legislations which allow businesses and corporations to extort our hard earned income away from us before and after we get our pay checks. This extortion is in the name of taxes and fees and service charges that are added on to our total payment of services. As a citizen in America, I reject the fact that the public servants we vote into public office to represent us, the tax payers; decide once they are in office they can choose to represent only corporate America. As I see our legislators giving to the lobbyist that gives to them I hear My Lord and Savior Jesus Christ saying in Luke 6 v 39 Can the blind lead the blind? Shall they not both fall into the ditch? America we are now a nation in a ditch, because our representative accepts money and favors from lobbyists. The word I would use to describe their behavior is Treason. According to the dictionary treason means: The betrayal of a trust. The reason I say betrayal of a trust is because we the American citizen send our elected representatives into office to first honor their oath to protect the Constitution of the United States and The Bill of Rights. However, when they get into office they honor and protect their ability to legislate in favor of the lobbyists, NOT We the People of the United /States, in Order to form a more Perfect Union establish Justice, insure domestic tranquility, provide for the common defense, promote the general Welfare, and secure the Blessings of Liberty to ourselves and our Posterity, do ordain and establish this Constitution for the United States of America. Instead they pass legislation like NAFTA and GAT. These two pieces of legislation alone opened up the gates for business to set up businesses overseas and allow them to take jobs away from the American citizens. Thereby, taking away the American citizens ability to have domestic tranquility. You see, overseas the wages are very small compared to the United States. Then our legislators refuse to raise minimum wages. So the betrayal of trust is why I chose to charge our representatives with treason.

Readers picture this. As a tax paying, fee paying and service charge paying citizen I, Mrs. Fox imagine we are now looking like a human skeleton while legislation is looking like the perfect, healthy, human body. Think about a visual look of a skeleton to understand what I am talking about. American Citizens This Skeleton represents the condition we the American citizens look like from being under tooooooo!!!!! Much legislation. Imagine what a healthy, human body looks like, it is what our Healthy Legislation look like. You see, the Legislation would look healthy and good. A++ Grade for the legislation; you see our representatives know how to write bills in favor of Businesses. However, for representing the American citizens our representatives get an F Grade. They failed to represent the American citizens who voted them into their public servant job. They also failed to protect our Constitution from foreign and domestic (lobbyists) enemies and failed to honor their oath of office.
