Joe starts a new Internet business. He is selling ebooks on how to create tons of traffic and make a lot of money on the Internet. Of course, Joe has never made a dime on the Internet himself, but hey, what the heck, he has bought several web traffic ebooks himself. Plus, he took an Internet Guru course on "7 Ways To Make A Killing On The Internet". Joe thinks that all he has to do to get large amounts of web traffic is build a nice looking site using one of the "optimized" templates that he bought from another Internet marketing guru for $97 and then he can just sit back and let the "moolah" roll in. He has visions of candy apple red Corvettes and vacation houses on the lake. Plus, a bank account with six figures in it. Also, four or five exotic vacations a year to places he has never been. The truth that Joe will eventually discover about generating web traffic is that it is hard, not easy as all the guru's have told him it was. So, if you want to build a web site that has large amounts of targeted web traffic you must expect that you are going to have to work long and hard to get it. |
