Yorkshire Terrier Puppies

Are you thinking of getting a new puppy? Are you willing to make a life-long commitment to a pet? And can you afford the costs involved with dog ownership? If youre ready to take on the responsibilities of dog ownership, then a cuddly Yorkshire terrier pup would be an excellent choice.

Over the years the Yorkie has become the most popular toy breed, not only in America, but also worldwide. Yorkie puppies are born with an almost black coat, which lightens and changes to silvery blue with a tan head and legs by the first year of life. They gradually attain their blue and tan coloration as they mature.

Each Yorkshire terrier puppy has its own distinctive personality. They are very affectionate and love being pampered and kissed. As babies they are very dainty and require a lot of love and attention. They are laid down for naps just like babies, and need to rest at various times of the day. Besides, brushing and combing their long, silky fur on a daily basis is essential to keep it tangle-free. If you dont have the time then a professional could do it for you. Always ensure that its hair is kept out of its eyes with a rubber band or a bow. Hair should also be kept out of its ear passages. A regular check up could check for loose hairs in its ears.

Yorkshire terrier puppies are quite delicate, and as such are not suitable as pets for young children, since they can easily be injured. It would therefore be advisable to consider these aspects before purchasing a puppy. These puppies dont require exercise, since this breed is best suited for city living and adapts itself to the activity level of the family. A Yorkshire terrier pup, therefore, would make the perfect pet in any American home. They are bundles of energy, and are so animated they could keep you and your family entertained for hours. With a little help from a reputed Yorkshire breeder, your dream of having a perfect Yorkshire puppy could come true.
